In a recent Learning Circle, we were working with the mindset shift from “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it” to “continuously improving”. Together, we came up with this ah-ha:
By taking a moment to see what is there – the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly – and how it affects our ability to show up as the best version of ourself, we create the opportunity to accept what we see. When we accept what we see, we create the opportunity to use that information. Now, with that information, we can consider the choices that would best create the conditions for us to be the best versions of ourselves. The invitation, then, is to look for the smallest incremental possibility, and experiment.
